I had a lovely night out tonight, a very different night out. First of all I didn't get drunk(!!!) and we went to different places and met different people which is always a good thing.
I had a sort of reunion of my former faculty and Nat came with me. We were eight people in all, the other six being guys! But it was amusing just because they were people that I don't meet often and even though I spent three years with them at uni I still hardly know them but they're all really friendly which is the most important thing in my book.
After that we went to meet Trev and Nicky at Juuls and in that same place there just happened to be the love of my life with his ugly fiancee. Poor guy is stuck in this stupid engagement and doesn't realise just what he's missing out on! --- ME!!! Hehe. Anyway I said Hi and got two kisses and I was very aware of his presence but whattheheck... Anyways it was all really nice and relaxed and there was this fantastic picture hanging on the wall that I want for my future house.
After that we stopped by Pips but it was empty and then we went to Qube and danced, and showed the other people what they should be doing. They played Vogue which is the most brilliant song ever to dance to. Trev and I had a blast gyrating to Madonna!
And now I'm home and my stupid brother left the lights of his car on so I had to go back into the dark night to switch them off and there were all these weird noises and I guess I'm still not over my fear of the dark!
Tomorrow morning Nat and I are going on a Malta tour cos she has two assignments that need some research! I'm a victim for people's assignments cos today Nicky made me go swimming in his pool to demonstrate the usage of wet suits. It was freezing! I literally could not feel my feet and hands and I wanted to scream... but couldn't! Swimming in January - what the heck am I thinking?!?!?!
