Yesterday was our last Welcome Party for the summer... awww! We had to share the place with IELS who have about 10 leaders working every shift so they kind of took over the place... and we figured, 'Hell, if you wanna do the entertaining go ahead, We're gonna sit down and drink rum and coke disguised as coca-cola and chill' which is what we did! Later Belle and John came over and I experienced one of the most frustrating moments... being next to the guy you're seeing/going out with or whatever you want to call it and not being able to do anything cos you're wearing your uniform! I went against company policy by giving him a quick peck on the lips when he arrived,and then we just had to sit next to each other for about an hour... aaagh!
Eventually we got the students on the buses and went to Bamboo. Freedom... ooh! No more restrictions! I didn't drink a lot yesterday but I felt the effects of the alcohol more than usual... I think it was sipping on that rum and coke, which obviously lasted a while considering there was so much coke.
I'm working the afternoon shift today which is swimming cruise... no problems there. And tonight we're having a piss-up, which is going to involve or probably just be (cos we'll all be too slammed to drink anything else) 100 minutes of beer! *yay*
And I must inform the general public that whilst I am typing this entry I am sitting on my bed with the keyboard on my lap becasue I have finally been connected!! Wa-hey!... and it's also 7:50 a.m. not the time that's on the page (what's wrong with that?!?!) and I have no clue as to why I woke up this early! Gah!
